Threats were made on Tuesday toward Cameron High School.

Cameron police arrested a suspect after a possible threat was made toward Cameron High School on Tuesday. The school district contacted police after receiving the threat, to which police quickly responded.

During an investigation, Cameron law enforcement made an arrest in reference to the threat but have not released further details including the identity of the person taken into custody at this time.

Police are working with the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office on formal charges and they want to assure parents that the situation has been handled.
