Three Injured in Crash South of Chillicothe This Morning

Three men suffered injuries in an accident early this morning in Livingston County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 5:15 this morning on U.S. 65, three miles south of Chillicothe, as a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Richmond, Texas resident Andre Miller headed southbound.

Troopers say Miller slowed to make a left turn into a private drive when another southbound vehicle driven by 19-year-old Cameron resident Lucas J. Dick attempted to pass on the left.

Dick’s vehicle struck Miller’s in the southbound lanes, and both vehicles traveled off the east side of the road.

Miller and a passenger, 26-year-old Houston, Texas resident Clayton Ferguson, suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Hedrick Medical Center and Liberty Hospital.

Dick also suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Hedrick Medical Center.

Troopers say Ferguson and Miller both wore seat belts at the time of the crash, while Dick did not.
