Three Milan Residents Hurt In Two-Vehicle Crash

 

Three Milan residents, including a 7-year-old, were left with injuries in a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Sullivan County.

Troop B of the Highway Patrol says at about 4:56 P.M. Monday a 2014 Chevy Cruze being driven by 23-year-old Maira B. Hernandez and a 2011 Ford Focus being driven by 54-year-old Robin L Green were both being driven on South State Street in Milan when they met at the crest of a hill and suffered a head-on collision.

According to the accident report neither Hernandez nor her 7-year-old female passenger, were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Hernandez suffered moderate injuries while her passenger suffered minor injuries. Green was reportedly wearing a seat belt but still suffered minor injuries.

All three individuals were taken by Sullivan County Ambulance to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
