Three More Area Students Win Scholarships Through Mo VIP

Three more area students were among the latest to be announced as winners of $10,000 scholarships through the Missouri VIP program.

The VIP program incentives people to get vaccinated against COVID-19 by offering $10,000 in cash to non-students or $10,000 scholarships for students to those that have begun the process offering vaccinated.

In the second round of drawings three area students were selected to win the scholarships, with Stanberry’s William Fish, Lawson’s Kinsey Peterson and Smithville’s Jeremiah Bloemker all selected.

Two other students won scholarships in the first round of drawings with Kendyl Edwards of Gower and Isabelle Witt of Trenton being selected.

More than 30 individuals from the listening area have won $10,000 cash prizes.

Anyone who has not yet registered for the drawings can do so here.
