Three People Involved in Crash North of Rockport on I-29

Tuesday there was an accident that involved three people north of Rockport on Southbound Interstate 29.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol stated the crash occurred just before 5 A.M. when a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Texas Resident Heather Chambers was southbound on I-29 when she slowed on the icy roadway and the vehicle behind her driven by 42-year-old Nebraska City native Travis Lotter struck Chambers car.
Chambers Vehicle travelled off the east side of the roadway and came to rest in the median on its wheels facing southwest.
Lotter’s vehicle came to a controlled stop on the southbound shoulder.
A 55-year old passenger was taken to the Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg Iowa with minor injuries.
