Tina Man Killed in Sunday Evening Accident

A Tina, Missouri man was killed Sunday evening in a two vehicle accident.

According to Troop B of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 5:30 Sunday evening 21-year-old Tina resident Alexander B. Heussner was driving a 2001 Ford F-150 westbound on U.S. Highway 36 two miles west of Brookfield when his truck went off the left side of the roadway. The Patrol says Heussner overcorrected sending the vehicle off the right side of the roadway, striking a westbound 2020 Chevy Silverado in the process.

The Heussner vehicle then traveled back across the roadway and overturned in the median, where Heussner and his 21-year-old passenger Blane A. Heussner were ejected.

Alexander Heussner suffered only minor injuries and was reportedly seeking his own medical treatment. Blane Heussner suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at Samaritan Hospital in Macon at 8:10 P.M.
