A Trenton man faces a felony drug charge in Grundy County Court.

Court documents say Richard Eldon Tunnell faces a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Records list the charge from Monday.

A probable cause statement accuses Tunnell of possessing methamphetamine.

Tunnell pleaded guilty to felony second-degree domestic assault and felony endangering the welfare of a child in 2004.

He also pleaded guilty to felony sexual misconduct or attempted misconduct involving a child in 2008.

The court set Tunnell’s bond at 15-thousand dollars cash only on Tuesday.

Tunnell will appear in court on August 22 at 9:00 a.m. for a bond appearance hearing.
