Trenton Man Injured After Striking Cow on U.S. 65

A Trenton man was seriously injured in a Thursday evening crash in Grundy County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 65, seven miles north of Trenton, when a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Jason M. Golden was heading northbound.

Troopers say Golden struck a cow in the road, went off the west side of the road, overturned, and struck a fence.

Golden was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Troopers say Golden was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
