Trenton Teen Injured in Rollover Accident

A Trenton teen was left with minor injuries following a one-vehicle rollover accident Thursday evening in Grundy County.

The Highway Patrol says a 17-year-old male from Trenton was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer northbound on northwest 22nd Avenue at northwest Crane Lane, about one and a half miles north of Trenton, at 5:20 P.M. when his vehicle began to skid.

The Ford went off the west side of the roadway where it struck an embankment and then overturned, coming to rest on its top.

The teen was wearing a seat belt at the time but still suffered minor injuries. He was taken by Grundy County EMS to Wright Memorial Hospital In Trenton for treatment.
