Trenton Woman Arrested After Fleeing Officers

A Trenton woman that led multiple law enforcement agencies on a chase early Sunday morning was arrested and is now facing at least two felony counts.

Troop H of the Highway Patrol says 49-year-old Trenton resident Tammy L. Nevels was arrested at 3:55 A.M. Sunday in Caldwell County on charges of felony driving while intoxicated, felony fleeing, and driving while revoked.

Nevels had allegedly fled officers in Trenton before authorities with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and Chillicothe Police stopper her vehicle on Highway 65 near Thompson Road. When officers approached her vehicle she fled again, heading west on U.S. 36 Highway.

The Highway Patrol ultimately was able to stop Nevels in Caldwell County and take her into custody without further incident.

She was released from custody to receive medical treatment at Hedrick Medical Center.
