Troop H Makes Three Arrests On Warrants Monday

Troopers with Troop H of the Highway Patrol made three separate arrests on outstanding warrants Monday.

The first warrant arrest came at 12:33 P.M. when troopers arrested 52-year-old Stanberry resident John P. Shanks on a Scotland County warrant for failing to appear on a speeding ticket. He was booked into the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office to await bond.

Just minutes later at 12:39 P.M. in Andrew County 43-year-old St. Joseph resident Penny M. Smith was arrested on an outstanding warrant from St. Joseph Police for failing to appear on a stealing charge. She was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was cited for not wearing a seat belt.

Smith was booked into the Andrew County Sheriff’s Office to await bond.

Then at 4:31 P.M. a trooper in Buchanan County arrested 52-year-old St. Joe resident Michael L. Evans on a Buchanan County misdemeanor warrant for non-support. He was booked into the Buchanan County law Enforcement Center to await bond.
