Troopers Arrest Lawson Woman on Two Drug Charges Sunday in Ray County

Troopers report the arrest of a Lawson woman on two drug charges Sunday afternoon in Ray County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 54-year-old Melanie D. Avery around 4:01 Sunday afternoon on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities booked Avery into the Ray County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
