A Saint Joseph man was arrested on six charges Wednesday morning in Buchanan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Austin M. Couch was arrested on preliminary charges of felony resisting arrest, exceeding the posted speed limit by 26 miles-per-hour or more, careless and imprudent driving, failure to drive on the right half of the road, following too closely, and driving while suspended or revoked.

Couch was taken to the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center and booked on a 24-hour hold.
