Troopers Arrest St. Joseph Pair Sunday in Platte County

Troopers report the arrest of two Saint Joseph men Sunday evening in Platte County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 56-year-old Michael A. Despain around 8:05 Sunday evening in Platte County on preliminary charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A few minutes later, authorities reported the arrest of 42-year-old Tony R. Despain on a felony warrant from Buchanan County.

Authorities processed and released Michael Despain.

Troopers booked Tony Despain into the Platte County Jail to await bond.
