Troopers report the arrest of two from Independence Saturday in Daviess County on a felony charge.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 18-year-old Dariann R. Wheaton and 37-year-old Jimmy D. Hilt in the 11 a.m. hour Saturday on a preliminary charge of felony tampering with a motor vehicle.
Authorities booked Wheaton into the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail on a 24-hour hold.
Troopers booked Hilt into the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office on a 24-hour hold.
