Truman Library and Museum Showcases George W. Bush Collection

(MISSOURINET) –  Former President George W. Bush has created a collection of oil paintings to pay tribute to military members he has come to know personally since leaving office. Missourians can see the “Portraits of Courage” exhibit at the Truman Library and Museum in Independence through the end of this year. Alex Burden, the executive director of the Kansas City-area museum, says the collection includes 66 oil paintings as well as a mural of 98 service members and veterans.

With proof of military service, veterans and active duty members get free admission.
