Tuesday Evening Accident Leaves St. Joe Man with Moderate Injuries

A two vehicle accident in Jackson County Tuesday evening has left a St. Joseph man and Kansas City woman with injuries.

Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol says 24-year-old St. Joseph resident Zachary W. Bozeman was driving a 2016 Jeep Compass northbound on North Cobbler Road at 5:30 P.M. when he attempted to make a left turn onto westbound Missouri Route 210. An eastbound 2017 Ford Focus driven by 45-year-old Orrick resident Jennifer D. Dopson struck the Bozeman vehicle as it attempted that turn.

Bozeman and his passenger 30-year-old Kansas City resident Kate E. Bozeman were both reportedly wearing seat belts, but Zachary suffered moderate injuries while Kate suffered minor injuries. Both were taken from the scene by Fort Osage Fire and EMS for treatment.

Dopson was uninjured in the accident.
