Two area residents were injured in a Sunday morning crash in Ray County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Silvey Road, south of Power Horn Road, when a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Lawson resident Aaron J. Kelley was heading southbound.
Troopers say Kelley was traveling on railroad tracks, went off the right side of the roadway, and overturned.
Kelley and a passenger, 40-year-old Excelsior Springs resident Timothy M. Andersen, suffered moderate and serious injuries.
Andersen was taken to Liberty Hospital.
Troopers say neither were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
Following the crash, troopers arrested Kelley on a preliminary charge of driving while intoxicated.
He was released from Lawson Police.
