Two Cameron Residents Injured in Monday Accident

An accident in Clinton County resulted in injuries for two Cameron residents.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports at 1:57 pm Monday 31-year-old Megan J. Davis was southbound on US-69 Highway south of Cameron when she pulled onto NE 326th to make a U-Turn.

She pulled straight back out onto US-69 where 85-year-old Charles L. Cox swerved to avoid the collision but still struck her vehicle in the northbound lane. Both vehicles came to rest in the southbound lane.

The moderately injured Davis was taken to Liberty Hospital while Cox was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.
