Two Cameron Residents Involved in Overnight Crash

(Cameron, MO) – Two Cameron residents were involved in an overnight crash leaving one seriously injured.

The accident took place at 2:45 A.M. when a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Neil T. Dodd and another vehicle driven by 44-year-old Florence J. Butcher were Southbound on US-69 Highway.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol while Butcher was driving the hood of her vehicle, blew back, and struck the windshield.

As Butcher was turning into a private drive, Dodd’s vehicle struck the left rear corner of her car.

That caused his vehicle to overturn and come to rest off the roadway in a private drive.

Butcher’s car travelled to a controlled stop in a private drive.

Dodd was transported by Cameron Ambulance to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries.
