Two Charged After Allegedly Bringing Gun Into St. Joseph School Saturday

A Saint Joseph woman and Belton, Missouri man face felony charges in Buchanan County Court.

Court documents say Carrie L. Stewart-Tillman and William D. Person Jr. both face felony charges of unlawful use of a weapon.

Person Jr. also faces an additional felony charge of unlawful possession of a firearm.

Records list the charges from last Saturday.

A probable cause statement accuses the pair of possessing a firearm inside a Saint Joseph school.

Authorities say Person Jr. is a convicted felon and can not possess firearms.

The court set bond for both at 10 thousand dollars cash only.

Stewart-Tillman and Person Jr. will both make initial appearances in court today.
