Two Chillicothe Teens Injured in Saturday Crash in Carroll County

Two Chillicothe teens were injured in an accident early Saturday morning in Carroll County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on County Road 285, just south of County Road 280, when a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Chillicothe resident Andrew J. Campbell was heading southbound.

Troopers say Campbell lost control around a curve, went off the left side of the road, and struck a tree.

Two passengers, 15-year-old Marcella M. Epperson and 15-year-old Rosalynn M. Pittman-Maupin, both suffered minor injuries and were taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Troopers say none of the three were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
