Two Drivers Injured in Arkoe Accident

A two vehicle accident near Arkoe injured two drivers Tuesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 37 year old Elizabeth Shelley of Albany was driving westbound on Highway VV, southeast of Arkoe, and went into the other lane of the highway. Her vehicle struck an approaching vehicle driven by 63 year old Derri Wandfluh of St Joseph. The impact was a head-on collision. The vehicles stayed on their wheels. Both vehicles were totaled from the accident.

Both drivers received moderate injuries and were taken to Mosaic Life Care in Maryville.

The accident took place just after 10:15 Tuesday morning.

The Nodaway County Sheriff’s Department and the Ravenwood Fire Department assisted the Highway Patrol.
