Two from Excelsior Springs Injured in Clay County

Two people from Excelsior Springs were injured in an accident in Clay County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 29-year-old Dillon and 55-year-old Donna Moody were injured after striking a deer on US-69 Hwy south of Summersette Road.
Donna Moody, the driver, suffered moderate injuries while Dillon suffered a minor injury. Both were transported to Liberty Hospital.
