Two Fuel Explosions But No Injuries In Monday Evening Fire West of Bethany

Bethany’s Fire Department was joined by several other department in responding to a fire in the 17000 block of F Highway late Monday evening.

The fire was located at the Hilltop Pallet Storage facility. When fighter fighters arrived, a survey was taken of the property and detected a propane tank and diesel fuel container. Firefighters took precautions due to the flames that threatened and eventually ignited both tanks that sent large fire balls into the air.

There were no injuries in the fire incident.
