Two Hurt In Wednesday Evening Accident Near Osborn
Two people were left with injuries, including one who was seriously injured, in a two vehicle accident Wednesday evening near Osborn.
The Highway Patrol says 43-year-old Clarksdale resident Brian J. Johnson and 41-year-old Cameron resident Vincent Donald D. Henson were both traveling westbound on U.S. 36 highway at Baker Road about five miles east of Osborn at 5:24 P.M. Wednesday.
That’s when they say the Hensen vehicle struck the Johnson vehicle.
The Johnson vehicle went off the left side of the highway where it overturned multiple times. The Hensen vehicle also went off the left side of the roadway, where it struck a culvert.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time, according to the accident report.
Johnson suffered serious injuries and was taken by DeKalb-Clinton Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. Hensen was left with moderate injuries was taken by DeKalb-Clinton Ambulance to Cameo4rn Regional Medical Center.
