Two Injured in Buchanan County Single-Vehicle Accident

Two people were injured in Buchanan County after an accident.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 79-year-old Joyce E. Jackson and 83-year-old Paul E. Jackson of St. Joseph were both injured after their vehicle traveled down an embankment off of I-29.

Just before 10:30 pm Thursday, the pair were heading north on I-29 near mile marker 44. The vehicle left the east side of the road and eventually crashed into a ditch.

Joyce Jackson was moderately injured while Paul Jackson was seriously injured. They were taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
