Two Inmate Deaths Reported at Crossroads Correctional Center

Two inmates at Crossroads Correctional Center in Cameron died last week, according to The Missouri Department of Corrections.

77-year-old Joseph Rodgers died Thursday night, nearly 12 years into a 20-year sentence for sodomy he started in September 2012.

The D.O.C. will conduct an autopsy.

75-year-old Martin Roosevelt died Saturday morning.

He’d been serving a life sentence plus forty years after being convicted of rape charges in 1982.

Authorities say he died of natural causes.
