Two Nebraska Locals Injured in Atchison Tree Stump Strike

Two travelers from Nebraska were injured in Atchison County after hitting a tree stump.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 41-year-old Benjamin H. Goll was driving with 38-year-old Lauren P. Goll, both from Omaha. They were heading south on I-29 north of Watson when at 1:15 pm Sunday the vehicle ran off the west side of the road and into a tree stump.
Lauren suffered a moderate injury while Benjamin suffered a minor injury. Both were taken by Atchison-Holt Ambulance to Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg, IA.
