Two Sooners Hurt in Harrison County Accident

 

A pair of Oklahoma residents were left with injuries after a one-vehicle crash Thursday night in Harrison County.

According to the accident report from Troop H of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 57-year-old Tulsa, Oklahoma resident Scott D. Carr was driving a 2007 Toyota 4Runner northbound on Interstate 35 at the 92.9 mile marker just before 9 P.M. when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, crossed the median and hit a guard rail.

After the impact the vehicle overturned coming to rest on its top and blocking the passing lane of southbound I-35.

Carr was weaning a set belt and escaped any injuries. His passengers, 56-year-old Leslie H. Hanna and 38-year-old Devard R. Hanna, both also of Tulsa, were also wearing seat belts but suffered minor injuries. They were both taken by NTA EMS to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany for treatment.
