Two St. Joseph Children Injured in Wednesday Crash

Two Saint Joseph children were injured in an Andrew County crash Wednesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on I-29, a mile north of Saint Joseph, when a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Saint Joseph resident Mark A. Hardin was heading southbound.

Troopers say Hardin traveled into the median, struck the median crossover, and became airborne.

Two children in the vehicle, ages two and six, were both taken to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of minor injuries.

Authorities say none of the three were properly restrained or wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
