Two Unionville Drivers Injured in Monday Morning Crash

UNIONVILLE, MO – Two drivers were injured in a crash in Putnam County this (Monday) morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a vehicle operated by 21-year old Jack Rogers of Unionville and a pickup driven by 66-year old Pollock resident John Cook collided head-on on a hill crest on 290th Road, approximately 1/2 mile south of Unionville.
As Rogers’ vehicle was disabled in the roadway it was struck again by a pickup driven by 37-year old David Coyle of Unionville. Rogers was life-flighted to Mercy One Hospital in Des Moines with moderate injuries. Coyle sought treatment on his own for minor injuries. Cook was not injured.
Rogers’ vehicle was totaled in the accident.
