U.S. Route 36 Blackwell Creek Bridge Project Delayed One Week

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced their project to rehabilitate the driving surface of the Blackwell Creek Bridges on U.S. Route 36 just east of Mitchell Avenue in Chillicothe has been postponed due to weather.

The project was expected to begin Monday, but is now scheduled to begin Monday, March 27.

Contractors from Capital Paving & Construction, LLC, working with Mo-Dot, will place temporary barriers to close one lane, each direction, with a 10-foot width restriction.

All work is scheduled to be complete on or before June 30, but as always is weather-permitting and subject to change.
