Union Star Driver Injured in Thursday Morning Accident

ANDREW COUNTY, MO- A Union Star driver was injured in an accident this morning in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place at 7:15 am on North US 169 at Indian Ridge as a 16-year-old female was turning left and failed to yield to a vehicle operated by 47-year-old Joey Thompson of Union Star, who was traveling northbound. The teen’s front bumper impacted Thompson’s front bumper.

Thompsons was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with moderate injuries. The teen driver was not injured.
