Union Star Man Overturns in Wednesday Crash

A Union Star man was injured in an Andrew County crash Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 169, a half mile north of Rochester, when a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Levi A. Hatheway was heading northbound.

Troopers say Hatheway went off the east side of the road to avoid a collision with another vehicle, struck a mailbox, and overturned.

He was taken to Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph for treatment of minor injuries.

Troopers say Hatheway was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
