Unionville Deer Clinic Available To Youth With Terminal Or Chronic Illnesses

The Missouri Department of Conservation will be partnering to provide a chance for youth with terminal or chronic illnesses to participate in a hunting clinic and a mentored deer hunt this fall in Unionville.

The clinic will be held on Friday, October 30th, at 3pm at the Rest Inn Him Lodge and Retreat Center in Unionville. The event will include education about deer biology and habitat, hunting safety, shooting skills, ammunition and firearm selection, methods, and regulations. There will also be a mentored deer hunt available for the youth during the weekend.

MDC and partners will provide meals, track chairs for those with mobility impairments, all necessary equipment and staff to assist.
