Unionville Man Charged After Assault With Knife

A Unionville man is charged with assault and weapons charges after a fight on Wednesday night.

The probable cause statement filed with the court alleges 34-year old Johnathan Travis (Travis) Frame of Unionville was at the victim’s residence on N. 19th Street in Unionville on Wednesday night around 10:30 p.m. when an argument broke out over a female. The victim alleged that Frame was intoxicated and began trying to fight with him. Frame is then said to have pulled a knife on the victim, severly cutting his right hand. The officer reports that he noticed a deep laceration on the victim’s hand, which was bleeding profusely. He was transported to Putnam County Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Frame is charged with the class A felony assault in the first degree and felony armed criminal action. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
