(Missourinet) Opponents of mandates claim Missouri’s Health Department director wants COVID-19 mandates. A Capitol protest Monday opposing the governor’s nomination of Don Kauerauf to the cabinet position drew about 200 demonstrators. Kauerauf says mandates don’t work, including those requiring health care workers to get vaccinated.
A state Senate committee is deciding whether it backs the governor’s pick. It
could vote Tuesday on the nomination.
