US Attorney General Merrick Garland Announces Additional $100M in Anti-Violence Grants for Cities and Counties Nationwide

(MISSOURINET) – U-S Attorney General Merrick Garland made a stop Thursday in Missouri, speaking at a conference focused on reducing violent crime. He told the audience that a new round of federal funding, 100 million dollars, will be available to local governments across the country:

The new funding is in addition to another 100 million dollars made available last fall. St. Louis and Kansas City have both received grants from that earlier round of anti-violent crime funding.
