US Senate Advances Funding For Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan – Schmitt and Hawley Vote Against

Missouri’s U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt was among those voting against a Mexico border security bill last week, one of his arguments is that was combined with other complicated topics.
So, the Senate DID advance a 95-point-three billion dollar package that includes aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
Both Senators Schmitt and Hawley voted against advancing this aid bill.
Schmitt says he does not like the way funding bills are introduced and passed in this Senate:
But Senate Republicans are arguing among themselves over what amendments to offer.
Senators return to D.C. Monday to try to move forward, instead of going on a two-week break.
