US Senator Schmitt On Passage Of Bipartisan Bill To Update Regulations On Commercial Space Launches

(Missourinet) Missouri’s US Senator Eric Schmitt has joined with a Colorado Democrat – to pass a bill modernizing the U-S commercial space launch process.

Schmitt explains.

The bill now goes to the House- Schmitt says chances are good that it would pass there.

Bill sponsors Schmitt and Colorado Senator John Hickenlooper say that FCC’s current process strains to abilities of companies like SpaceX, Blue Origin, and the United Launch Alliance to predict and perform critical launch missions.
