USDA Reports First Outlooks For Nation’s Corn And Soybean Crops

The first outlooks for the nation’s corn and soybean crops have similar trends. Rod Bain has more.

 

Missouri’s Agricultural Statistics Service also released their Winter Wheat projections. The harvested area of winter wheat is projected at 480,000 acres. That’s up 110,000 from last year. The winter wheat yield is forecast at 68 bushels per acre, up 6 bushels from 2020. Production is forecast at 32.6 million bushels, up 42.3 percent from the previous year.
