USDA To Make Announcement About Harrison County Community Hospital Loan

A major announcement is expected tomorrow (Wednesday) in regards to a funding application from the Harrison County Community Hospital District to U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development.

The Harrison County Community Hospital District applied to USDA Rural Development for funding to help construct a new 76,000 square-foot hospital in Bethany. That new facility would have a 14-bed acute care and swing-bed unit and a 7,500 square-foot maintenance and storage building.

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Missouri State Director Kyle Wilkens, Harrison County Community Hospital leadership and various state and federal officials will be on hand at the current hospital to make the announcement at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon.
