Virginia Man Injured in Andrew County Crash Thursday

A Harrisonburg, Virginia, man suffered injuries in an Andrew County crash Thursday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 12:08 p.m. on I-29 as 30-year-old Nuru Kibonge drove southbound.

Troopers say Kibonge went off the right side of the road, struck a road sign, and came to a controlled stop.

Kibonge suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic in Saint Joseph.

Authorities say Kibonge did wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
