Virtual Three-State Beef Conference Starts Tonight
A free three day webinar series focused on beef production begins tonight.
The Three-State Beef Conference is virtual this year thanks to the COVID pandemic. The “Making Dollars out of Decisions” conference is set to begin tonight at 7 P.M. with the first of three nightly one hour Zoom webinars designed to help beef cattle producers and industry professionals address how they can capture the economic value of decisions.
Tuesday’s webinar features Dr. Scott Brown with the University of Missouri discussing what’s on the horizon for the cattle industry, pricing changes, profit drivers and other possibilities in 2021. Wednesday’s webinar features K-State’s Dr. Bob Weaber who will discuss “Making Selection Successful: Aligning trait emphasis with market endpoints”.
The final night of the webinars on Thursday will focus on the value of connected data with speaker Justin Sexton with Performance Livestock Analytics.
Each webinar will begin at 7:00 P.M. Central Time and will last for about an hour
The conference is a between the joint effort between Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri Extension offices.
