Wednesday Night Semi Crash Leaves Topeka Man With Moderate Injuries

A tractor-trailer accident Wednesday night in Holt County left a Topeka man with moderate injuries.

Troop H of the Highway Patrol says 32-year-old Topeka resident Kevin W. Forst was operating a 2020 Kenworth tractor-trailer southbound on Interstate 29 entrance ramp at the 92 mile-marker about one mile east of Craig at 8:13 P.M. Wednesday when the semi went off the east side of the roadway.

Once off road the semi overturned coming to rest on its passenger side.

Forst was reportedly wearing a seat belt at the time but still suffered moderate injuries. He was taken by Atchison-Holt Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment of his injuries.
