Weston Man Hurt in Monday Night Crash

A Weston man was left with moderate injuries in a motorcycle crash Monday night in Platte County.

Troop A of the Highway Patrol says 32-year-old Weston resident Jacob M. Shaw was driving a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle on Missouri Route 45 at Homer Road at 7:14 P.M. Monday when he failed to negotiate a turn and struck a curb.

Shaw was reportedly not wearing proper safety equipment and suffered moderate injuries. He was taken by private vehicle to Saint Luke’s North for treatment.
