(MISSOURINET) – Missouri is heading into a third winter of covid-19 and many pharmacies have the second coronavirus booster available. The Pfizer booster is approved for ages 12 and older while Moderna’s is available for those 18 years of age and older. Doctor Stephen Liang (Lee-AING), a Washington University infectious disease physician in St. Louis, says he expects covid cases to increase during Missouri’s colder months.
The vaccination is still free. To find one near you, go to covidvaccine.mo.gov or contact a local pharmacy.
