Wheeling Man Left With Minor Injuries After Rear-Ending Semi

A Wheeling man was left with minor injuries after his vehicle hit the rear end of a tractor-trailer in Livingston County Monday afternoon.

Troop H of the Highway Patrol says 29-year-old Wheeling resident Justin T. Haddakin was driving a 2018 Jeep Cherokee eastbound on U.S. 36 Highway two miles east of Chillicothe at 12:57 P.M. Monday, when he attempted to overtake a 2004 Mack Conventional Tractor ad trailer.

The accident report states Haddakin’s vehicle hit the rear end of the Mack’s towed unit before then coming to rest in the median north of the eastbound lanes facing southeast.

Haddakin was reportedly wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident but still suffered minor injuries. He was taken by Livingston County Ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe for treatment.

The driver of the Mack was unhurt in the accident.
