Congratulations to the Girls on getting 3rd place and the Boys team for winning the Championship of the HDC tournament last week. Games tonight at East Harrison start at 6:00. Thursday’s games are at home vs. Princeton.
The Junior High Scholar Bowl will have their next matches Wednesday night at Winston at 5:00.
Permission slips for the senior’s “My Success” event on 2/22 are due this Friday, 2/18.
Vo-Tech Awareness day for those that signed up with Mrs. Pliley will be tomorrow morning. Your bus will leave at 8:00am.
District basketball starts Saturday February 19 at St Joe Christian school. Opening round games: Girls play Saturday at noon and boys play Monday at 6pm. Bracket is attached. Good Luck Redbirds!
Any boy interested in baseball this summer need to get a form. Deadline for sign up is Feb 25th.
Winston School Board meeting will be Thursday February 17 at 5:15pm prior to the varsity basketball games. Agenda is attached.

Parents, please remember to contact the office prior to the student’s absence or before 8:30am the day of. Parents can call the school at 660.339.6462 for student absences- if it is outside of school hours- no problem! you can leave a voice message. We appreciate your assistance.

VoTech students do attend the North Central Career Center on Mondays. The bus leaves the parking lot at 7:15am.
School hours for students: 7:50am – 3:35pm. Students should be in their rooms ready to work prior to the tardy bell. Detentions will be given for repeatedly late students.
School Coverage: Tri-County Weekly Newspaper out of Jamesport will be publishing pictures and articles concerning the Winston R-VI School District.
